SCARLETT

I just cannot stop making these at the moment.  I find them so relaxing to do and I just sit on the sofa in the evening and stitch and stuff them and make them up. This little lady I finished a while ago.

I adore this particular Tilda Fabric, its the same colour as my favourite PTI cardstock and ink colour, Berry Sorbet.

Close up..

There are a lot of girls at work who are about to go on maternity leave within the next month so I have been asked to make some of these and some teddies as part of their leaving gift.  This was meant to be one of them but I think I may be keeping this one for myself!

LITTLE BUNNY BLUE!

Another little bunny today. I wanted to make something for the boys this time.  I found some fab stripey fabric with anchors on it which was just perfect for his dungarees and set me on a mission  to make a little sail boat for him.

A closer look....

The boat is lightly stuffed and a stick inserted and glued into place.  I made up the sail from white linen and stitched it all round and then tacked onto the stick and the boat.  Worked out well I think for a first attempt.

Thanks for dropping in, its really appreciated.

SO SPECIAL

Its seems to be birthdays everywhere at the moment.  I have another one to share today.  I find it really hard to make cards for boys/men so this was the best I could come up with.  The mum who asked me for it was chuffed to bits with it so I must have hit it just right!

The inside...

A closer look...

 and another box envelope...

Off to start Sunday dinner now.. roast beef this weekend... yummy!  Have a good one.

FESTIVE CHEER

Christmas will be here very soon and I was really in the mood for something festive to make.  Failure to make any christmas cards so far this year is a major bug bare for me but I just can't seem to get into it, I love mass production but you just have to be in the mood for it don't you.... so I opted for a stuffed toy instead!

Unprepared as I am, I do not have any red fabric paint
so this is no Rudolph BUT cute all the same I think!

Hopefully the christmas cards will follow shortly, I can't even think about buying any, my family would kill me!

70 YEARS YOUNG

I recently made a card for the mother of a friend of mine for their 70th Birthday.  I really loved the finished result which came together after A LOT of placing and replacing until I was happy with it.

The finished card...

I used patterned paper from a range by Tilda, and dies from PTI and Spellbinder.
I then made up a box envelope for it to go into.

The complete package.

Hope you're having a good week.  Thanks for popping in.

BUNNY TIMES

Today I have a few more bunnies to show you, a little one and a mini one!

and the mini one....

I'm really, really enjoying making these.  I adore messing around with paper and stamps but its nice to have something else to do sometimes don't you think.

I've decided to sell some of these on eBay so see how that goes.  If you're interest you can see them HERE

Have a great weekend!

DANDYLION DAYS

I Love this image.  Its so floaty and free looking but I wanted to give it a bit of umph with the red background to beef it up a bit.

I added a few specs of black glitter here and there and double mounted onto white cardstock.  The base of the card I stamped in 'Wheat' coloured ink with some leaves from a set by PTI.

That's it for today.  Take care

GIVE ME A TINKLE

A little card to share using some dies and stamps from PTI - can you tell yet that I love PTI!

They are just the cutest little stamps and matching dies.  This card is destined for my friend in Abu Dhabi who I miss loads.

Have a great one.

THE CHICKEN OR THE EGG?

I've finished my chicken that I mentioned a while ago and wanted to share her with you.

I am struggling to find a terracotta colour linen fabric so used what I had for the comb, beak, legs etc and just inked them up a little for definition.

This one has a new home to go to which is great.  More to come, keep checking!

ALL DISTRESSED

I've used a variety of images for this card.  The bird and the background lettering are Marion Emerson and the sentiment is PTI, as are the keys that I've die cut.  I've had a another try at using distress inks too.

Its a bit blotchy but still, I quite like it.  I bit more dimension next time I think though.

Off shopping now, the nice kind too!  Thanks for popping in.

THE NECK OF IT

Back to the sewing machine for this post. I adore this pattern from Tone Finnager, Super Cute don't you think.

I've been making quite few things recently and my office space is filling up fast.  I need to find new homes for them so I'm going to try my hand at selling them on eBay over the next few weeks.  I've had orders for these and some teddies, pigs and chickens from people at work which is fab so hopefully they'll sell so I can make some more!

Working on some chickens now, will share when finished!.
