Here it is, the second Hanglar stamp I've managed to get my hands on - how cute is this little guy!
He is coloured with Prisma pencils and Copic Markers. I use a distress ink pad for the edges of the background paper and I was a little heavy handed with it as you can see but as it didn't look terrible so I still used it. Waste not want not.
The frame is from a new set from Spellbinders which I love using.
See what I mean about the heavy handed edging! Hey ho. I am amazed I managed to get a card done today, we've been moving furniture around all morning whilst we have new carpets fitted in the lounge and hallway. Good excuse for a bit of spring/summer cleaning whilst we were at it and I am pretty knacked now. BUT I can't not craft for too long so I squeezed this one in this evening.
Hope you're having a great bank holiday weekend. Must confess my pillow is beckoning - is it really only 8 o'clock!
I have just discovered Hanglar stamps (similar to Magonlia) from scanning the web for some new stamps to buy. They are really cute but really hard to get hold off as they have previously only been sold in Sweden. Their website says that they will now send worldwide but I couldn't get the pages to loads so gave up. Luckily I found a couple for sale on eBay and this is one of them.
I used my Prisma pencils to colour her in.
Got another stamp to play with but NEED more - another search on eBay I think!
I've just bought myself some Distress Markers and was keen to give them a go. This was my first attempt and I am pretty pleased with myself actually! They are really nice to work with and blend well although I certainly need more practice but so far, so good.
The image is from a collection of stamps I also bought from Fizzy Moon.
Men cards are not my forte really, I find them quite hard. I always want to add a flower or something girlie, I just can't help it but I forced myself in this case.
Hope you're having a great Sunday. Catch up with you soon.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm a 'mum' to a dappy dog, 4 chickens, 2 cats and a wife to a wonderful husband who allows me to indulge my spare time in my passion for all things paper, which for me is BLISS.
Hope you find something to inspire you. LEAVE ME A COMMENT it really makes my day! x
