SEE THE FLOWERS SMILING

I love this sentiment, flowers are so lovely - pity I don't get them as often as I'd like!!

I also love this stamp set so they just yelled out to be introduced to each other and made into a little card.  I don't yet have a square die to punch out the scalloped edge so I used my Friskars scissors here.  All cardstock is PTI except for the black which is DCWV.

Sorry so short today, I am moving office at work so its all packing and unpacking and moving computers and phone systems and the like and at home its mad busy making wedding invitations for my best friends daughter.  I can't believe where all the time goes - I just don't seem to have any!

Bye for now.

BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS

Morning all, hope you're having a good day.

Today's offering is one I made up for someone and then I promptly mislaid it so it was never used.  It's now in my stash waiting for another suitable occasion!

The base is just a basic white card and I've used brown & white cardstock with some bright patterned paper, all from American Crafts.  The flowers I've had ages and can't remember where I got these from!  I stamped the butterfly image and cut out and fixed in place with a couple of foam pads, adding some crystal gems for some bling.  I stamped the sentiment and then punched out.  A button and some twine finished it off.

I am in the process of having a good clear out at the mo.  I've got sooo much stuff and I need to organise myself properly - mislaying this card is just an example of how unorganised I seem to have become.  I can never find the thing I am looking for until its too late.  My little place to work in is overloaded and basically looks a mess!  So I've set aside this afternoon to get myself sorted - wish me luck!

FLOWER POWER

Hi

I made these cards a little while ago and thought I'd share them.  I stamped the white background with a flower stem and leaf stamp from PTI and then stamped flower image on coloured card stock and cut them out.  I adhered these onto the white cardstock and added a coloured gem to the centre of each and then punched a fancy border strip which I mounted onto a co-ordinating piece of card.

All stamps and sentiments are PTI, punch used was Fiskars and cardstock from American Crafts.  Inks used were PTI Berry Sorbet and Ocean Tides for the flowers and Pearlescent Beige from Brilliance for the background.

Have a good day.  Happy Crafting!

SIMPLY MONOCHROME

Hi All

Thought I'd share a card I knocked up in a hurry for a friends birthday.

I stamped the background image using Momento black ink and then added some black gems.  Finished with some black ribbon and stamped my sentiment.  Plain and simple, which I like.

Have a great day.

BEER

Scrap page again today folks and this is Jerry (my husband) who loves a beer.  On a holiday in the Canaries  this is what we were served!  It was enormous and several of these were consumed at this sitting and a few more besides!

A very simple page layout again and a very quick post today.

Gotta dash, I am still decorating and I hate unfinished business!
Have a great day

BIG FAT MOOOOOO

Well Happy New Year All!  Two Thousand and Eleven has arrived and I think this is gonna be a good year!
I just have that feeling.

We are really lucky where we live, we are surrounded by fields and they are usually full of cows or sheep most the year.  The farmer had to put up another line of fencing because they were leaning over the barbed wire and eating all our hedges!  We quite often go out and feed them some fresh grass and one year we came across 'Split Ear'.  We called her that because one of her ears was cut in two and she was the most friendly cow we've ever come across.  As soon as we went out in the garden she would come over to us waiting for some food!  We got used to seeing her all summer and then one day she was gone, along with the rest of the herd.  She loved a stroke and I managed to take a pic of her one day having the tip of her nose tickled.

OK, so she's not the cutest thing you've ever seen but we liked her.  Since then, we've not come across another cow who is quite so in need of attention, although they all love a handful of fresh grass being fed to them but stroking seems to definitely be out of bounds.  This page is dedicated to Split Ear - the friendliest cow we know!

Catch you soon
