BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL

Been having a bit of clear out recently and amongst all the bits that I'm getting rid off or selling, I found my little box of flowers that I had forgotten all about so thought I'd make up a card to show them off again.

I love the colours, really vibrant.  I also made another using a different colour which I love also.  I've show this below but for some reason, despite the picture being the right way up when I upload it, as soon as I add it to the page, it puts it in the wrong way around!  I cannot get it to go the right way so here it is anyway (Anyone got any tips for this... please let me know, I've driven myself crazy trying everything I can think off but no luck so far!)

All the cardstock used is from various stacks of paper from DCWV, all the flowers are from a bunch of silk flowers I bought from Wilkinsons and then separated out to make loads of individual petals and the self adhesive gems in the centre of each flower are from different design packs from Prima. The sentiments are both PTI.

AN INVITATION

Hi All

Following my previous post of the Wedding Post box, today I thought I'd share the invitations that I've made with you.   I started with some Diamond White cardstock wallets with pockets inside.  I made some labels for the front with the bride and grooms name and some diamante embellishments to the side.  I mounted this on some of the patterned cardstock and attached to the front of the outside tab.  I wrapped mauve ribbon around the tab and tied into a bow.  These are the colours that are used through all the stationery.

Inside on the left hand side is the actual invitation which is mounted on the patterned paper again and then mounted again on to some pearlised mauve cardstock which matches the ribbon.  I designed a logo for the happy couple using their initials as the background in a silvery grey colour in a large italic font with their full names in matching mauve colour in normal but smaller size font layered on top on my PC. Under the logo I have added a further three diamantes.  The logo I have used on everything I've made to tie everything together.

Inside the pocket on the right I have inserted a wedding list which is on a single sheet of cardstock, a Guest Information booklet which contains a map and directions, local accommodation, taxi companies etc and on top of this in a smaller size single card sheet for the RSVP with envelope.

The Invitation and the RSVP have been printed with each guests names on them for a personal touch and both their names and those of the bride and groom are in mauve to make them stand out.

I have made 122 of these and a further 95 evening invitations.  All have gone out in the post and I am working on the Order of Service now.

Will share more once I have something ready to show you.

SUGERY SWEET

Happy Friday everyone!

One of most favourite cardstock suppliers in DCWV and all the cardstock I've used here are from her range of patterned papers and cardstock.  The image itself, sentiment and the ribbon are PTI.

The patterned paper has a lovely glittered effect on it as does the purple cardstock and in the flesh looks yummy liscious!  Very sweet and girlie.

Have a great day and enjoy your weekend.

WEDDING POST BOX

The wedding that I am working on is fast approaching and so I thought I'd share some of the items that I have completed so far.

Today is the wedding post box which will be going on the gift table in the reception area of the marquee, along with the wedding guest book.

I bought the plain box and lid from an eBay shop which came flat packed and I just added a few embellishments to it in the colours I've used for the rest of the stationery.

The main colours are deep mauve, silver, and diamond white.  I found some lovely patterned paper online that I could get in the vast quantities which I need for all the stationery and this was used as the background to bring out the mauve.  I added some white and mauve edged paper flowers to the the post box message and tied with the ribbon.

I did the same with some flowers on the top of the box where the slit sits (I made the slot bigger than how it came as it was a bit small).

Finally a added a strip of ribbon  around the base of the lid and added a silver and diamond buckle to the front.  I will be using the same buckle on the two sets of Table Plans I will be making in the next few weeks and once completed will share with you.

I am so looking forward to this wedding.  Its a very close friends daughter and because I've been so involved from the start it makes it all the more exciting!

Wells that's all for today.  Have a good one.

Hugs

SWEET LITTLE PEA

I love a bit of background stamping, I find it really relaxing just stamping away.  I used a Versamark pad to make this background up on to Spring Moss cardstock and I used matching Spring Moss ink for the main image before stamping my message inside it.

I can't believe its Monday again tomorrow.  How do Monday's come around sooo quickly!

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Take Care

I'M JUST NOT SURE

Do you ever have one of those days where you sit down ready to create something and when its done, its just not how you thought it would turn out?  Well today is one of those days for me!  I'm not all that keen on how this card looks but I thought I'd share it anyway - someone might like you little card!

I am unsure if its the colours I've used as I normally go for brighter colours than this or if its the patterned paper but anyway, its' not me!  I'm gonna try this one again with some different papers and see how that looks.    All the papers used here are from a bundle I got on eBay so unsure of make.  The brown cardstock and image is PTI, as it the button and twine.  I used a tough of glitter on the image but unfortunately this does not show too well here.

Right - off now to try again!
Take care all
