Hi All
Finally got my dongle through the other day and after a bit of fiddling about we have got it working and I can now upload some photos. A bit slow but at least I can do it now.
I am off to London tomorrow for my niece's wedding at the weekend and I wanted to share with you a few of the last bits I have done to take with me.
All the menu's and name cards are done but there are several little ones coming who obviously don't need a menu with their name on it. My sister has got a load of bags which we're going to fill with little gifts for each child (little colouring books, crayons, juice drink etc) and I decided to make up a little tag for each bag with their names on it. There are seven in total....
I used the label die from PTI and the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge to make all the little animals. Some googlie eyes and a bit of glitter really brought them to life. All ready to be tied to the bags.
My niece wanted to use purple as her colour theme and luckily I had some left over ribbon and card stock from the wedding I did last year who also used purple so I did not have to buy too much more to make up all her invitations.
Here is the table plan now that its all completed. Butterflies are the other major element of the scheme and each table is named after one...
I used a Spellbinder die for the two butterflies on the top of the plan and mounted each on to a piece of purple vellum using a solid die to match. The dies are from a collection called Papillions.
I bought the pearl and diamond broaches from a local jewellery makers outlet and used one on the table plan and one on the wedding post box. These are soooo gorgeous I am going to have to ask for them back once the wedding is over!
Well thats its for now. As I will be away for a week, I will be scheduling the next few posts until I get back.
Enjoy the bank holiday weekend everyone in the UK. Here's hoping that we'll get to see some sun for a change! It has rained every day in Wales for the last 3 weeks (one and off). I am almost transparent I am so pale!
