Hello everyone, todays card is using one of my Magnolia stamps which I have not played with for some time now and it was in need of an airing.

I think this is such a cutie image.  This has been coloured with a combination of Prisma pencils and Copic markers.

I seem to be in love with purple and green just recently!

The sentiment used is from PTI and the DP is a collection from SEI who have such beautiful papers.  I just added a touch of Stickle clear glitter to her wings and left it at that.

MINI DINO

Hope you're having a great day so far.

I've just recently invested in a Cricut Create machine and bought the Create a Critter cartridge to play around with which so far I LOVE.  I am still getting to grips with how to use the thing though so its taken me a while to create a card with some of the things I've cut on it but, here is the first proper attempt.

I cut out this darling little dinosaur, once in the layered colours and once in white card stock and glued a suitable edge together to make the card. There is most probably a better way of doing this but so far I haven't figure that out so this is my best shot at it!

To give a bit more depth to it I added some little eye lashes, a bit of glitter here and there and inked the edges all the way around.  I then punched out a cute little tag and stamped it with my sentiment.  I attached this with some ribbon and a button.

This is for no-one in particular but I am sure it will be come in handy at some point so this one is destined for my card draw for now.

I will continue to play around with this new little machine and will share whatever I come up with as I figure it out some more.  Any tips gratefully received!

MORE BLOOMING FLOWERS

Made this card for a friend who's birthday is coming up very soon and she loves RED!  Using my bargain flowers yet again I made sure there was plenty of red on this one!

She's gonna love this.

Sorry so short and sweet, I am really tired today, didn't sleep too well last night so got up and made this at 3.30 in the morning!  I can't stand tossing and turning, I just have to get up so... any excuse to craft!  I did notice this morning however, that I forgot to thread the ribbon through the blimmin tag though.. Doh!

A BANNER YEAR

Hi All

Been a quiet day at work and had dinner cooked for me when I got home - this NEVER happens, what can he be after I am wondering to myself! - so.... time for a card me thinks!

I have just bought a bundle of seam binding to play around with so thought I'd start there with this one. The stamps I used to decorate the the banners are a new set I've just got from PTI as is the sentiment. I used some Prima pearls to decorate them and a few roses for a bit of softness.

I'm liking green at the moment as I've just finished painting my kitchen in a similar shade to this and who out there doesn't like a bit of pink!

P.S. in case you where wondering, dinner was toad in the hole with onion gravy (I had to make that part as gravy is definately not his strong point) all was yummy. AND all he wanted was to give me a night off from cooking.. ahhh sooo sweet!

Its been one of those days today, been really busy but never actually ended up feeling like I'd accomplished anything... ever have one of those?!

Yesterday I finished this card so thought I'd share it with before I grab a large glass of of something and flake out on the sofa.

Everything used on this one are all from PTI. For some reason these colours make me think of ice cream.  I think I have some in the back of freezer so that can accompany my wine, which I'm off to guzzle down now!

A NEW DESIGN

Hi Everyone

You know what, I am a fickle ole thing and I do get bored pretty quickly so if you've been popping in today and wondering why things keep changing its because I wanted to update the look of my blog template.  I was in need of more colour sooo....

after much messing around, broadband drops out and copious amounts of hair-pulling (is it cool for a girl be be bald!?), I've decided on this one.  A few more tweeks needed here and there but essentially I am leaving it alone for while!

Hope you like it... but don't get too settled with it, there is every chance it will change again before too long, LOL!

Check back soon for some more posts, I am working on a few bits today so will share shortly.
